Virginia Area Historical Society Events

Monthly historical programs

Throughout the year VAHS hosts several historical presentations that are free and open to the public.  The programs normally take place on a Friday at 3:00 pm at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, located at 1111 8th Street South in Virginia.

Our annual membership meeting is held on the last Friday in April. The evening includes a catered dinner, a short business meeting, and a presentation.

The Fall Fest is our annual fundraiser on a Friday in late August or early September and features a picnic meal with a program or entertainment.
