Virginia Area Historical Society Events

Monthly historical programs

From October through April, we host historical presentations at the Columbia Apartments community room (600 N. 3rd Avenue) on the first Friday of the month at 2:00 p.m. These meetings are free and open to the public, and coffee an' is served.

We also provide or promote events at the B'nai Abraham Museum and Cultural Center.

Our annual membership meeting is held on the last Friday in April. The evening includes a catered dinner, a short business meeting, and a presentation.

The Fall Fest is our annual fundraiser on a Friday in late August or early September and features a picnic meal with a program or entertainment.
